Sometimes I doubt if this DateYourselfGirl Movement is positively impacting people. The goal is and always has been to empower women to become the love they seek by learning to love ones self wholeheartedly. I'm still a work in progress and have made some mistakes along this DYG journey but the women I have met along the way keep me inspired, empowered, and encouraged. So, imagine my surprise when I got this email from a DYG supporter from Southaven, Mississippi. Her support and kind words are the reason DYG will continue to create content that encourages women to build a stronger sense of self esteem, promote a higher standard when it comes to considering a mate, & stress the importance of valuing the woman you are. So remember to "DateYourselfGirl"!
"Love my t-shirt and wearing it proudly. I'm a 45 years old mother of
five beautiful blessings. Been divorced for 7 years. Through trial and error,
I finally learned to date myself and fall in love with myself as I gained an
understanding of who I am in God. Being single is not a curse. God is not
worried about society's deadlines (marriage, kids, house, picket fence, etc)
so neither should you. Each season is preparation for the next. Enjoy your
season and allow God to work. Keep your head as high as your standards
and Date Yourself Girl! Love you Tracey! Bless you in all that you do."
